We started Kerr Financial in 1979 to help individuals become more business-like about their personal finances. Unlike corporations which had accountants, lawyers, strategic planners and boards of directors, all working to manage finances and plan the future, individuals and families had no one to look to for help. And there were big opportunities that they were missing to save taxes, cut costs and get better investment returns.

So we set out to provide honest, useful financial advice, based on an expert knowledge of investment management, risk avoidance, income tax planning and estate strategies. This all starts with a deep understanding of what our clients are dreaming of and what they are worried about.

We want to work with you for the rest of your lifetime; we want to work with your parents and your friends and your children. And we have to charge reasonable, tax-deductible fees.
